About denton sato

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Denton Sato draws creative inspiration from the blend of his Japanese heritage and the rich cultural landscape of Hawai’i. In 2016, Denton decided to take art classes at the Honolulu Museum of Art School, where he discovered his passion for one-of-a-kind art pieces. After spending 13 years working in Nuclear Engineering at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, he decided to transition his time and energy away from engineering in pursuit of his love of creating wearable art pieces.

Disenchanted by the current state of luxury jewelry, which would have everyone wearing the same designs that have been mass-produced for decades, Denton aims to bring luxury jewelry back to a personal level, with one-of-a-kind handmade treasures destined to be discovered by the right wearers. If two words could describe Denton Sato Fine Jewelry, they would be: “ancient” and “royal”. Denton strives to recreate the feeling of luxury back in a time when only royalty afforded jewelry and each piece felt truly special.

When not working on jewelry, Denton enjoys creating handmade ceramic vessels, dining at new restaurants, and traveling to new places.
