While all Denton Sato rings are hand-carved in wax, this ring shows that on full display. The ring is meant to be worn whichever way the wearer desires. It features Denton’s signature Hōsekitsugi design which takes a nod from Japanese Kintsugi. The wax model of the ring cracked during carving, and Denton repaired the wax model with a deep blue sapphire to create something more beautiful and more valuable than the original.
